How to improve workplace resilience and adaptation

Resilience means that an individual is able to successfully cope with and recover from adversity. At work, employees often encounter various setbacks, blows, or accidents, and fall into a low ebb. As a leader, how to help employees cope with these adversities and get back from the low tide is a very important issue of leadership. In this Resilience session, we’ll look at some of the ways leaders can build resilience in their subordinates.

We are honored to have Professor Wu Zongyu, Professor of the Department of Psychology at National Taiwan University and President of the Taiwan Society of Business Psychology, to be the keynote speaker of “Resilience”.

In this session, you’ll hear about 4 ways leaders can build resilience in their subordinates:

  1. Reframe adversity
  2. Accumulate successful experience
  3. Inventory and provision of resources
  4. Be inclusive of emotions
